Hit the beat

Every throw opens with a rhythm phrase. Each note you hit charges your puck, each PERFECT pushes the multiplier higher. Keep the combo alive while the interviewer speeds up, slows down, and slips cursed caps into your stack.

Topple the stack

Your puck slams into the stack. Caps flip over and their effects chain: devourings, resurrections, vortexes, rockslides, chains...

Build your stack

Before the first throw of each interview, you draw a hand of caps and choose where they go: on top of the stack or at the bottom. Place them well to kick off your combos.

Choosing where each cap goes: top or bottom of the stack

Four families

Skeletonsraise their dead: what fell falls again and scores again.
Impsdevour whatever follows them. What they burn never scores, but every devouring makes them hungrier.
Golemscrash into each other and build up mass from one throw to the next, until they release it all at once.
Arcanechains, multiplies, and reaches the bottom of the stack where the cascade never goes.

Every cap comes in four rarities: common, rare, holo and prisma.

Open boosters

At MEGACAPS, spend your essences on cap boosters, marbles and pucks. Rip the pack, take what you like, grow your collection.

Pick your puck

Thirteen pucks, each with its own rhythm pattern and marble slots: passive or active abilities that power up your throw. Save a marble for the right moment, then unleash it.

A marble unleashed before the throw: OVERLOAD

Sign the contract

Difficulty isn't a slider, it's a contract. Sign clauses, build your contract, climb the eight ranks: every clause pays a bonus that matches the risk. Three worlds, fifteen stages, one life: twelve interviews, three of them against a Grosbill, and one Merchant per world. The job is waiting at the very top.

About the game

Souls Caps is a roguelite deckbuilder you play on the beat. Every throw has two beats: the rhythm, then the impact. The rhythm decides how many caps fall. Your deck decides what they're worth.

The Soulbuster Corpo is hiring, and the job interview is a cap-throwing gauntlet: three worlds, fifteen stages, twelve interviews, three Grosbills and one life. Build your stack from four families of caps, open boosters at MEGACAPS, pick your puck and sign the contract that sets the difficulty.
